The Morris County Preservation Trust has funded and preserved 14,724 acres in Morris
County - a tremendous achievement! On July 28th the next round of applications are due to
the Department from local municipalities and nonprofit organizations to preserve land in
their communities. Our May meeting will focus on the application process and what makes
a successful application for county funding. Tips will be shared on how best to complete
the application form (there are changes this year), run the tour, and present the project to
the Committee in the fall.

Judy Schleicher, Morris County Park Commissioner and four-year member of the
County Open Space Trust Fund Committee, will moderate this program.
